Polio vaccines are coming to children in Gaza. What road awaits them?

A case of polio has been confirmed in an unvaccinated 10-month-old. More than 1.2 million oral polio vaccines have arrived in Gaza, with the aim of vaccinating about 640,000 children under the age of 10. The vaccination effort is being led by various organizations, which have emphasized the need for a ceasefire in order to administer the vaccines safely.
